For our 15 year old son's very first surgery he was quite nervous. I just want to say Thank You to our Anesthesiologist, Dr. Susan Smith, who came in and made him feel so comfortable. Dr. Smith talked with him and helped him understand what was going on. After surgery, and after he awoke, she came by and stayed and talked for quite some time with us all! As nervous parents who never want to see their child have to go through surgery this was a great experience and we really appreciate Dr. Smith going out of her way to take such good care of our son.

There are moments in your life that you hope you never have to have and one of those is handing your child over for a medical procedure with anesthesia. My little 7 ½ month old girl needed to have an MRI and we had Dr. Red Starks as our Anesthesiologists. He called me the night before and even called the day after the procedure to check in with us. I was at total peace handing her over to him knowing he was so kind hearted and was totally there to make my little girls procedure smooth and safe.
