Annie Kahn

Dr. Annie Kahn

Annie chose the University of Texas Medical School at Houston for both her medical degree and residency. A native of Irving, Texas, she returned to the area for a fellowship in pediatric anesthesia through the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School/Cook Children’s Hospital. Dr. Kahn is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and currently serves at the Medical Director for Anesthesia Services at Our Children’s House at Baylor, Dallas. Her special interests within pediatric anesthesia include craniofacial surgery and neuroanesthesia, and she is board certified in pediatric anesthesia.

Bruce Fitzgerald

Dr. Bruce E. Fitzgerald

Bruce is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and completed his anesthesiology residency training at Tulane Medical Center. While on the clinical anesthesia faculty at The Children’s Hospital in New Orleans, he served as residency coordinator for the combined Tulane/LSU anesthesia programs. Bruce serves as the Medical Director at Texas Pediatric Surgery Center in North Richland Hills. He’s a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, and board certified in pediatric anesthesiology.

Chris Clarke

Dr. Chris Clarke

Chris holds his undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Southern California where he studied Biomedical/Electrical Engineering in the Honors program. He completed a surgical internship from Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA and an anesthesia residency at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, MA. Dr. Clarke spent his pediatric anesthesia fellowship at Children’s Medical Center in Washington, DC and came to Texas in 1999 to practice anesthesia. He has served as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at UT Southwestern and at the Uniformed Services University of Health Science. Dr. Clarke was a Presidential Scholar and a past member of Editorial Board of the USC Journal of Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and a member of the National board of Medical Examiners.

Dr. Sharon Couch

Sharon, a New Orleans native, received her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Loyola University and earned her master’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University. She then completed her medical degree at Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. After her residency in anesthesiology at Ochsner Medical Center, Sharon completed her fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado. Dr. Couch is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and is board certified in pediatric anesthesiology.

Dr. Ian Miller

Ian holds an undergraduate degree in Biology and a Master of Biotechnology/Certificate of Business from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. His medical degree was completed at University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. He then went on to his residency at Allegheny Health Network where he was named Anesthesiology Chief Resident. Dr. Miller completed his pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. His special interests include pediatric regional anesthesia and humanitarian medical work. Dr. Miller is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and is board certified in pediatric anesthesiology.

Dr. Kevin Luu

Kevin received his undergraduate degree in Zoology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, and obtained his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. He completed residency training in anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine, and stayed in Houston to complete fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology at Texas Children’s Hospital. Prior to coming to North Texas, Dr. Luu practiced pediatric anesthesiology in California and San Antonio, Texas. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology, and maintains board certification in pediatric anesthesiology.
